The company was founded in 1997 and has executed consulting projects in: California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Georgia, Illinois and Florida. In addition, we employ secret shopper evaluators in over 45 states including Alaska, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Our clients include small to large owner/operator restaurants, privately owned regional chains, major brand name chains and franchise operators.
Our mission has always been to help our clients achieve the "next level". We are not magicians or miracle workers, however throughout the years we have developed a variety of proven systems that can help restaurants achieve the level of performance that they are seeking. We are gifted in financial evaluations, service standards and efficiency, organization, menu development and overall concept development.

Principals
The Solomon Group formed in 1997, by Howard and Debra Solomon, a husband and wife team.
Howard Solomon has 30 years "in the trenches" of the restaurant business. His track record is "all about results". He has orchestrated over 30 restaurant grand openings nationwide and abroad. During Howard's 15 years of management experience he has held executive positions with the Hard Rock Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Food Company and the Cheesecake Factory.
Howard is a Board Member of the Food & Beverage Association, a Board Member of SBEAC (Small Business Employer Advisory Committee, a task force committee of the Employment Development Division, State of California) and a member of the California Restaurant Association. He sits of the Board of Directors of several chain restaurant companies and acts as an advisory board member of several other companies
Howard regularly speaks at restaurant conventions and franchise meetings of national brands. His dynamic vision, real life examples and words of motivation are an inspiration to many.
His proven leadership and communication skills have helped national chains, local restaurants and individuals realize their potential, increase their level of performance, and maximize their profitability and income.
Debra Solomon with over 20 years of experience in guest service and new restaurant openings has amassed an unparalleled record in service enhancement. Her training and development skills have helped roll out new stores for large chains such as Noah's Bagels and others.
Debra has also performed guest service training and customer satisfaction seminars for large companies such as Southwest Airlines.
Debra's creative skill has built strategic marketing plans for local and national chains. Debra also leads our design team with innovative and creative ideas for enhancing lighting, music, decor, and ambiance.
